2016 Ontario Blind Curling Provincials

Congratulations to the Toronto Blind Curling Club for winning the 2016 Ontario Blind Curling Provincial Championships in Kingston, ON!!

The TBCC is proud to announce they have two winning teams from this year's Ontario Vision Impaired Championships, held in Kingston March 19, 2016.

Toronto Competitive Team won Gold and will be representing Ontario next February at the National Vision Impaired Championships, which will be held in Ottawa during White can Week.

Craig Sherman –Designated Sweeper
John Routh – On Ice Guide
Wendy Turner – Coach

Toronto Recreation Team brought home the Bronze Medal.

*Special thanks to Taras. Lloyd Pike had a minor accident during the first game and Taras was able to step in as skip for game 2 & 3.

Also a special thanks to the volunteers from Kingston who helped the rec team with sweeping. They couldn't have done it without you!

Special mention: Peter Maik from Toronto played on the Hamilton rec team and they brought home the gold. Way to go Peter!
